It is my pleasure to offer for auction this very lovely 102 piece Sterling Silver flatware set in one of America's most treasured flatware patterns, GRANDE BAROQUE... Designed by William Warren in 1941, this pattern utilizes several Renaissance symbols: fine petaled flowers on the spoons, a narcissus on the forks, and a rose on the knives. The nuances of shade and light, with exquisite carving and playful open work, have made this particular pattern one of the most popular of all time! This quite extensive, pierced, heavyweight, premium set is in EXCELLENT original condition with no dings, dents, monograms or removals. All of the stainless steel blades are bright and like new. The considerable number of serving pieces are in EXCELLENT condition as well! This gorgeous and extensive f latware service comes securely housed in a protective PACIFIC mahogany wooden chest, ready for shipping. The fitted interior looks as new as the day it was manufactured decades ago and has served quite well as this set's elegant home.
