This auction is for a 46 piece set of Wallace Sterling flatware in the Rosepoint pattern with Wallace Sterling Anniversary Chest . Set includes 8 (4pcs@) place settings of knife, fork, salad fork and spoon , 1 spoon ,5 butterspreaders , 6 cream soup spoons , gravy ladle and slotted serving spoon in the Rosepoint pattern introuced by Wallace Silversmiths in 1934. This sterling is in excellent condition. The pieces are marked "WALLACE STERLING " with an Elk Head separating the words. T are no wear marks, dings , dents or other signs of use. The pattern is clear and crisp in detail . T is no monogram and t never has been one. Each piece is in excellent estate (used) condition. T are no monograms on any of the pieces. Included are:8 @ Knife- Silver handles w / stainless steel blades. 9"8 @ Forks - 7"8 @ Salad forks 6 3/8"9 @ Spoons- 6 1/8"6 @ Cream soup spoons 6"5 @ Butterspreaders- 5 5/8''1 @ Slotted serving spoon 8 1/4''1 @ Gravy ladle 6 1/4 " Wallace Sterling Anniversay Chest - Made from solid Honduras mahogany with a lusterous hand-rubbed finish will accomodate a Service for Twelve of Wallace Sterling. Solid brass fittings and a solid brass monogram plate (that was never engraved )give this smooth wood chest a rich decorative look. The cover is equipped with a specially designed locking hinge to prevent the lid from dropping; felt pads underneath the chest save your table top or buffet from scratches or nicks . A handy storage drawer adequate space for additionl serving pieces. The Anniversary Chest is lined with Anti- Tarnish Pacific Cloth, insuring your Wallace Sterling the protection it deserves. The chest is in excellent condition. All lining is intact with no cuts or damage and all original metal hardware is present and unmarked. The exterior is in excellent condition. The mahogany needs to be waxed and the brass fittings cleaned and polished . I am selling a 46 piece set of Wallace Sterling Flatware in the Rosepoint pattern. The sterling has been in my family for about 50 years. In that time it was very rarely out of the chest - used to set the table less than 10 times. The sterling was originally purchased new by my mother as a wedding gift for her sister in 1955 . The set shows virtually no signs of use. Free shipping USPS Priority Mail .
