WALLACE Sterling Silver Short Teapot w/Hinged Lid. I was cleaning out a storage under an old house in Laguna Beach last week and I was fortunate enough to come across some old boxes with some antique silver items that were left behind among other goodies that I'll be posting up on Ebay. Now, I've been selling items on for years but these antiques aren't exactly my field of expertise so bear with me as I will try to describe everything to the best of my knowledge. please feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer-- also, don't be afraid of my 99 cent starting bid-- i just want a true auction and I won't end my auctions early with B.I.N. offers-- I'll let it ride to be fair to everyone. thanks & happy bidding.I have 5 pieces in total of this Wallace Sterling Silver (all being tarnished but I'm sure they will polish up nicely), but they are being sold individually but I will gladly combine shipping.WALLACE STERLING SILVER SHORT TEAPOT w/HINGED LID HAS A MONOGRAM ON THE SIDE-- I REALLY CAN'T DECIFER WHAT IT IS BUT I'M SURE SOMEONE MORE EXPERIENCED WITH THESE ITEMS CAN FIGURE IT OUT. IT HAS VERY NICE DETAILING ON THE HANDLE WITH SOMETHING LIKE A MOTHER OF PEARL INSET IN TWO PLACES BUT NOT SURE OF THE MATERIAL.SAYS "WALLACE STERLING 2900" & OTHER STAMPS ON THE BOTTOM- IF YOU NEED TO SEE PICTURES OF IT, CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONSMEASURES APPROX. 11-1/4" LONG x 5-1/4" WIDE x 8" TALL I have checked over all 5 Wallace items and they appear to be in excellent condition in my opinion with very few-very minor scratch/rub marks with no deep scratches, I believe what little marks are t would be removed with a good polishing. Also, no dents, no loose handles, no loose hinges, no damage. thanks.
