This is a rare copy of the first book from the pioneering gay novelist, playwright, poet, songwriter and founding member of the Yale Puppeteers and the Turnabout Theater, Forman Brown. It is number 14 of 50 printed and hand signed by Forman. It was printed privately and published with the help of his father when Forman was still at the University of Michigan. Walls is a book of poems that gives insight into the early years of Forman's talent and influential life. The book has black cover boards covered with orange tribal design paper. The corners are slightly bumped and the coverboards have mild surface wear but it is otherwise in excellent condition. The pages are clean and the binding is tight.
