This item is a real Walt Disney collector's item. It is from the opening year of WALT DISNEY WORLD in Orlando, Florida. Even though it is very old, it is still flawless. Not the faintest signs of scratching and it's colors are still as radiant as they were over 30 years ago. The gold edging around the top of the fluted, glass rim is still in tact. The underside of this treasure is black, but when you hold it up to the light, it becomes transparent. Beautiful!!! Painted on the inside of the candy dish, are scenes from many different park attractions, depicting Disney as it was at that time. All of these are arranged in a circle around the center, which is the 'Magic Kingdom".It is a must have for any Disney collector who will know the true value of this item!!! It weighs 12 ounces, and it's height is 1-1/2" from the base to the highest part of the fluted top. The width diameter is 8".
