Original Certificate of Authenticity "This limited edition sericel depicts three great leading ladies of Disney's legendary animated films of the 1950's. This Sericel edition, "Disney's Leading Ladies-I," showcases the title heroines of Disney's classics Alice in Wonderland (1951), /cubderekka (1950)and Sleeping Beauty (1959). The background level features exquisite development art for each of the features by renowned artists Mary Blair, Marc Davis, Ken Anderson, and Eyvind Earle. Also pictured are each of the voice actresses who brought their personalities to these animated stars: Kathryn Beaumon as Alice, Ilene Woiods as Cinderella, and Mary Costa as Princess Aurora. ... Disney artists have specially created the background scene accompanging this cel. It is not a production background. Anderson Printing has lithographically printed this background artwork on premium quality, acid-free paper. As a finishing touch and to commemorate their roles as the voice talents behind each Disney heroine, Ilene Woods, Kathryn Beaumont and Mary Coosta have hand signed each mat in this edition. ... This limited edition was produced in the year 2000. It is comprised of general edition of 1,5000 sericels and 150 publisher's proofs, numbered pp 1/150 to PP 150/150, for a total edition of 1,650 sericels, Walt Disney Art Classics approves the techniques used in theproduction of this edition and the proofs tof. Conforming to the practice of fine art printing, the screens used to create the edition are destroyed when the edition is closed.... Note: As you have probably already guessed this is a rare piece. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to purchase it. You would be hard pressed to find another one of these for sale. I have put a low reserve on this piece and I hope the lucky winner enjoys it!!!!! Excellent Condition This was purchased at a Gold Circle Dealer, The Enchanted Castle.
