This is a large book measuring 9.5" x 13".There is are no signatures, bookplates, or markings of any kind. This book contains all 16 original tipped in color plates, with none missing or removed. They are all in excellent condition. The pages are clean and free of any foxing. This is a First Edtion, printed by Simon and Schuster in 1940. A rare find in this condition complete with many beautiful illustrations. Synopsis The book is based on the 1940 animated film Fantasia, produced by Walt Disney and released by Walt Disney Productions. The third feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series, the film consists of eight animated segments set to pieces of classical music conducted by Leopold Stokowski, seven of which are performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra. Music critic and composer Deems Taylor introduces each segment in live-action interstitial scenes.
