This is a nice limited edition Lenox Holiday plate. The reverse reads: Lenox 1998 Lenox Presents An Annual Limited Edition Holiday Plate featuring the Mickey & Co Characters. "Building Snowman". Building Snowman is the second issue in a series of Limited Edition Holiday plates featuring Disney characters from Mickey & Co. in wonderful scenes celebrating the magic of the holiday season. Each fine ivory china plate will be issued annually and will portray Mickey and his friends in delightful art created by Disney artists. Dressed in holiday attire, Mickey and Minnie put the finishing touches, a scar and black top hat on their man of snow. In all the excitement, Mickey and Minnie do not seem to notice that Donald has plans to start a snowman of his own. Building Snowman is a hand crafted of Lenox fine ovory china and the colorful scene is framed by an intricately pierced border of holly, stars and a silhouette of Mickey. The plate is issued in a limited edition which ends December 31, 1998. Each plate in the series will be sequntially hand numbered, and the year of issue will appear on the from of this plate and all future issues. Measures approx. 10 5/8" wide. This is in great shape. NO chips or cracks. This is an estate liquidation piece, one of many Disney pieces that I will be offering over the next few weeks. It will absolutely be sold to the highest bidder without reserve.
