This original and authentic 2 disc DVD set, " Mickey Mouse in Living Color ," is Volume 1 in the " Walt Disney Treasures " series. It was the first, and said to be the most treasured, collectible set in the series. First released in 2001, it is no longer in production.The set consists of 26 original animated shorts, starring Mickey Mouse, on two DVD's stored in a collectible limited edition tin case. All of the animations are from the years 1935 (the year of the first "living color" Mickey Mouse cartoon) through 1938. Many bonus special features are included on the DVD's such as the "pencil test" creating of certain cartoons, original audio tracks, original art and theater posters, interviews with the animators, and vintage television clips of Walt Disney. Comments and introductions by film historian Leonard Maltin are also included on the DVD's. Total running time of this two DVD set is about 3 hours and 37 minutes.The DVD's have been previously viewed, but all of the original contents of the collectible tin are t and everything is in very good condition . T is a small crinkle on one corner of the silver 8 page cardboard insert containing background information. And the blue cardboard band around the tin case has a small tear in it.
