BID ON THIS WONDERFUL, ONE-OF-A KIND PIECE OF DISNEY HISTORY *****FREE SHIPPING***** This life preserver is straight from Walt Disney World's Empress Lilly. The Empress Lilly was named after Walt Disney's wife, Lillian, and was an authentic re-creation of a 19th-century paddle-wheeler decorated in Louis XV style. It opened on May 1, 1977 with several different dining options including a character breakfast in the morning. The boat closed on April 22, 1995 and reopened as Fulton's Crab House on March 10, 1996. The preserver / ring measures approx. 25" in diameter and is approx. 3.5" thick. The outside material is probably vinyl over a heavy styrofoam ring. It shows wear and tear from being on display in the elements with rips holes and dents here and there. I've taken a couple of close-up photos of two areas with damage. Plastic rope is disintegrating with a few pieces hanging on. Lettering is still completely legible and paint is in good condition! All in all, this would be a cool decoration for your pool area -- just in time for summer, too!! NOTE: NOT FOR USE AS A SAFETY DEVICE!! *****FREE SHIPPING*****
