This is a charity listing, 100% for Transitions, Inc.!!! Transitions is a place for people with abilities, and this nonprofit also enables people all over rural San Juan and Grand counties, where transportation is tough. The US Census confirms that these counties are among the poorest (below poverty level) in Utah, so it is not an exaggeration to say that jobs, money, and a means of obtaining food are also tough in this area. Clients at Transitions operate food banks to help those in need; a laundromat to provide laundry facilities; and stores where antiques, books, scrap booking supplies, and pantry items can be obtained for reasonable prices (there is no department store in this area). Transitions has even operated an affordable bed & breakfast.
