This auction is for a stunning original antique Arts & Crafts upright piano manufactured by Bechstein to a design by Walter Cave. Dates from 1890s / early 1900s.
Mahogany case with brass hinges to lids. Built-in music bracket. Case rests on castors. Plays very well, though needs tuning and a couple of keys stick a little. One of the ivories has a small chip. Case has minor marks, chips and scratches - see photos. Dimensions: length 155 cms; height 123 cms; depth 62.5 cms. Please arrange your own piano movers. Piano is to be collected from London, buyer to pay costs for piano removal. Piano is on the ground floor; vehicle for collection can easily be parked outside.
