BE SURE TO CHECK MY OTHER ITEMS (MAJOR BLOWOUT SALE IN PROGRESS MOSTLY WITHOUT RESERVE) Original oil on canvas by well listed and highly sought after early California painter Walter Farrington Moses 1874 1947. Measures 25" x 30". Signed lower left. Unframed in good condition with some light paint loss in the upper left area (see photos). Light cracqelure and can use a light cleaning. BIOGRAPHY: Born in Sterling, Il on April 17, 1974. Moses studied at the AIC before settling in Los Angeles in 1923. He taught there at the Art Guild Academy in 1930 and remained in Los Angeles until his death on October 25, 1947. He was the author-illustrator of "Artistic Anatomy".
