is a beautiful Chicago Bears home jersey signed perfectly by the greatest running back of all time, the late WALTER PAYTON! Signed in black Sharpie on the number 4, the jersey is mounted in a 43" tall x 35" wide black, high gloss frame. Below the numbers are Walter's accomplishments and his nickname, "Sweetness", embroidered onto the jersey. Also framed into the display, below the jersey, is a metal engraved plate with Walter's name and his record of being the NFL's all time leading rusher, a record he held for many years before Emmitt Smith broke it. On either side of the plate are framed graded cards of Walter's. The first being Topps #148 1976 Rookie Card, which is graded by GEM ELITE to be Pristine 10. The other framed card is Walter's Topps #360 1977, which is graded by SG LLC as a 70 E+. Both graded cards are sealed in their factory cases and have not been removed or tampered with in any way. It was hard to keep from getting the glare from my camera's flash reflecting off the glass in the frame, but the whole display looks a lot better in person than my pics show. The autograph is clear and sharp and the display has always been kept away from sunlight and in a smoke free, pet free environment. Please note that I originally had an unsigned Payton jersey professionally framed in the frame, and replaced it with the signed Walter Payton jersey that is now in the frame. The backing on the backside of the frame is now held to the frame by duct tape, which is not visible at all from the front, nor while it is hanging on the wall. This holds the backing securely, but could easily be redone, (with paper covering the backing), professionally at a frame shop if the new owner so desires. This may be the only chance you have to get one of these Walter Payton signed stat jerseys without having to pay an arm and a leg! Included is the COA from GALLEN SPORTS PRODUCTIONS, INC certifying the authenticity of the autograph. I stand behind the authenticity of the autograph 100% and will refund the purchase price to the buyer if a reputable third party authenticator finds it to not be legit within a reasonable amount of time (and upon return of the item to me of course). I will have this framed jersey professionally packaged at a UPS Store to insure that it will arrive at your door undamaged.
