At auction is a near mint Walters beer advertising sign on a captains wheel thermometer. Embossing reads: Made in USA, Walter's Gold Label Pilsener Beer, The Walter Brewing Company, Pueblo, Colorado . The sign is 10" in diameter, tip-to-tip. The only damage that I found is a small 1/8" scratch in the paper face in the red ring at the -20 degree mark. This sign does not have a glass face but may have been designed to have one. This is the only Walter's sign of this type that I've seen so I have nothing to compare it to. Shipping price includes insurance. Just heard from another ebay'er who has one of these thermometers. His does have a glass cover over the face. So i'm missing the glass face on this item. It will be sold as is.
