This is a rare and beautiful watch acquired from a North Carolina estate sale several years ago. This is an antique Waltham Vanguard pocket watch, which features a 23 jewel movement, adjusted to 5 positions, gold train, gold jewel set. It is stem wind and lever set, double sunk dial, subseconds and wind indicator dial. Movement 19063401. case by Montauk #8878999. (showing wear on rear of bezel, ..barely noticeable). Thiis is a beautiful dial and is perfect in every way. No chips, hairlines, or discoloration. Hands are perfect on all functions.This would be a terrific addition to a collection , or wear it proudly. Front and back screw on smoothly for a perfect seal. Movement is running strong.
