Welcome, I have up for auction a Waltham Pocket Watch.I don,t know it,s exact weight,but it feels very heavy.(I would guess 2 1/2 to3 ounces,that,s only a guess as my scales got sat on and I have no way to weigh it at this time).It is aprox.40mm wide or 1 1/4 inches around.It appears to have a porcelain face.I think it is from the 1890-1910 period.It is hallmarked (inside of case) STAR WATCH COMPANY STERLING .925/1000 FINE.The watch movement is 15 jewels.The watch ran but I believe that it needs a good cleaning.It is missing its minute hand and needs a crystal (easily replacable).The case of this watch displays the American Eagle with outstretched wings standing guard over the Shield of the Grand Old Republic.Finely engraved with a beautiful patina.A vintage and very hard to find period piece(with this motif).Because this item needs a hand and crystal I am starting it at an extremely low starting bid with NO RESERVE.If you have any questions,Please ask and Thank You for looking....
