Please read carefully.Up for bid are 5 Walthers 100ton 4 bay coal hoppers.The cars have had their paint stripped using Scalecoat Rinseaway and are now undecorated.All are black plastic.These cars are correct for the 125 D&RGW cars in the 16875 to 16999 series.This number series is the only one that is correct for 3 different lettering schemes, The Flying Rio Grande lettering,The stacked small Rio over the large Grande "the Action Road" and small Rio over the large Grande "the Action Railroad". Included are 2 sets of Microscale #87-816 Rio Grande HO decals that will letter 3 cars each set. All the original parts are there except for the old x-2f horn hook couplers and the 33" wheels which are incorrect for these cars.The trucks are 100 ton and are correct for these cars.100 ton trucks have 36" wheels so you will have to supply your favorite 36" wheels and couplers.The Walthers air brake set and brake wheels are crude and are included.An upgrade to these parts are included. They include Cal Scale Air Reservoir, Brake valve & Brake Piston sets, and Tichy Brake Wheels and assorted parts set as shown in the photos.2 original boxes are included, & instructions are included as are the truck mounting screws.Sold as is.
