Huron Indian

War Club

Up for auction is an old all wood war club. Originally from Canada the Huron/Wyandot Indians now are mainly located in Kansas and Oklahoma. When first put on reservations they w not allowed to have metal blade tools & weapons. This all wood club is shaped like a gun to show power. Great complete condition and is part of a recently purchased collection. The original owner had some paperwork showing he purchased it in 1932.

The light red trade feathers, light red trade cloth, hand forged nail(s), patina and all wood construction define the age of this weapon.
