VERY RARE ! WARNER OLAND signed autograph on 7" x 9" photo Swedish actor Warner Oland was famous for his portrayals of Fu Manchu and Charlie Chan in several movies in the twenties and thirties. He co-starred with BELA LUGOSI in The black camel - 1931- and BORIS KARLOFF in Charlie Chan at the Opera - 1936. He also co-starred in WEREWOLF OF LONDON (1935) with Henry Hull. After having completed CHARLIE CHAN AT MONTE CARLO in the fall of 1937 he fell ill and left for Sweden, w he died on August 6 1938. This photo was signed for an Italian movie magazine "Cinema" on May 20 1938... The text reads : To my dear "Cinema" , Most sincerely, Warner Oland , May 20 1938. T is a very small 1/4" tear on the right side of the photo and a very small fold bottom right corner. Registered signed-for shipping worldwide : $ 14
