Warriors of the Shadow Realm are two books with beautiful artistic quality with great imaginary backdrops and landscapes. KISS is, well KISSs. I bought the book back in 1977 and never read it. I just noticed that Kiss fights Mephisto and Dr. Doom. Have at it and bid away. NO RESERVE. Great starting price.
Offered are three issues described as follows NOTE: PLEASE REVIEW THE SCANS CLOSELY, THEY COST ENOUGH AND ARE MEANT TO BE VIEWED WITH A CRITICAL EYE. It must further be noted that books ofthis size are hard to find in good condition. They are not graded onthe same curve as a smaller book. One reason is that when they were initially shipped, the vendor did not know nor how to handle books of this size. You will find a certain degree in laxity in the grading when compared to a normal size book. #11. WARRIORS OF THE SHADOW REALM. A beautiful book. Slight bend on the right corner, no color lost or stress line. No stress lines on the spine. Slight blunting on the top and bottom of the spine. T is an ever slight indentation on the top edge of the front cover. Other than that the book is free of all noticeable defects. All posters and Color fold out are attached. The book has never been read. I bought it and it went straight into a box. A strong 9.0 if not 9.2. #12. WARRIORS OF THE SHADOW REALM. This is like #11. Beautiful book, sharp edges, great corners, except for one thing. For some reason, when I took it out of the bag, the cover had split down the spine. I can only guess that with some of the moves I have been in the last 30 years that some of the stress placed on the box in the move, somehow transferred to the book. I cannot explain it, but it is t As a result I can only give the book a good to very good 3.5/4.0 KISS, can you believe it? I bought the book almost 30yrs ago and I still cannot believe they made a comic of KISS. Well it is being placed back into the market place for those diehard KISS fans. I included this book with WARRIORS OF THE SHADOW REALM because they both deal in fantasy, Warriors are purely fantasy based characters while KISS fantasizes that they can play music. I guess the weight of the book and the light weight of the paper makes cover split easy, I have seen it on other large books, the spine is split from the top to the top of the staple. The rest of the cover is fine The cover is attached at all staples and all pages are strongly secured. The cover is a wrap around with Doc Doom on the back. The lower right cover has a slight bend with no color loss or stress lines. The top right corner has a small bend with a crease. The book is a solid 4.5. Shipping FREE COMBINED shipping on all non-cgc material on up to five books. $5 in USA for media mail; $8.50 USA for priority mail, $15 to Canada, and $20 to Europe and Australia via global priority mail. I am fine with finding another shipping method for International customers. Important note to ALL customers: Insurance is optional but recommended.
