These two figures were made by one of the most celebrated ceramic artists of the 20th century. These two medieval warriors are so artistically detailed you will be amazed. Italian born Professor Eugenio Pattarino was a sculptor, and teacher of art. His works were given out to the Vatican as gifts and are displayed there to this very day. His works are very rare and hard to find because his studio along with all his records, art works and catalogs were washed away in a flood many years ago. His works are found mostly in churches, holy sites, and were only purchased by very wealthy tourists and Catholic Priests. Most of his subject matter consisted of religious icons, saints, angels, scenes from the bible, Jesus and the Virgin Mary. Some of his rarer pieces consist of the non-religeous subject matter because less of them were made. These warriors are absolutely stunning. The work Pattarino put into each of his pieces are most impressive. These rare warriors will grace your home in elegance, beauty, and leave you in wonderment of this genius artist's talent. They are signed EPF Italy. EPF stands for Eugenio Pattarino Firenze. These two warriors are much more colorful and intricate than pictures show.
