DEMI PARURE is unsigned but it looks like the CORO Wasp Duette. There are no markings that I can see and it is called "Queen Bees". The metal is goldtone and possible gold plated sterling. The wasp brooch has clear rhinestones in the wing and body, red rhinestone eyes and black enamel on the legs and wings. The wings also have highlights of green and red enamel. The earrings are screwback and are a smaller version of the brooch. The brooch measures 1 inch X 1 3/4 inch and the earrings are 3/4 inch X 1 inch. The condition is very good.American Costume Jewelry 1935-1950 by Carla Ginelli Brunialti and Roberto Brunialti on page 69 has a picture of the CORO Duette and page 70 describes the duette.
