For those collecting the historical works of Jehovah's Witnesses back to the early days, one of the most cherished and sought after volumes is that of the Pre-Studies in the Scriptures days when the set was simply titled "Millennial Dawn". The name MD graced the volumes from there beginning in 1886 to around 1904 and some in 1905. After that it was thought they might get the attention better of the general public if the Set name was changed to a better reflection of their contents, since they were infact a Study into the Holy Scriptures, the name was changed. Hence this set has become very rare due to it's only being around for a two year time frame 1904-1905 due to volume 6 being released in 1904. This set is now approximately 106 - 107 years old and appears Like New in many respects - see below...

Friends, thanks for taking a brief look at my current auction here for the Millennial Dawn Full Complete, and believe me " Matching ", set of volumes 1-6 c.1903-1904.

Matching? On close scrutiny one can tell with a good portion of certainty that this set was purchased as a "Set" in or around 1904. The look of the books are very consistent on all volumes 1-6.

Condition: I've only seen one set equally nice on ebay in over 12 years. This set is simply put, in very nice, to very fine condition.

Gilt; The silver letting on the fronts of all the books appears mint. The silver lettering on all the spines appear 90% or better-please see pics. I dont see any foxing at all on the green cloth which can be common on these century old books. The spines are completely intact and the books appear unread and unopened with one exception-see below on the description of volume 3.

Volume One. The Divine Plan of the Ages . 1,475,000 edition. 1904 printing. Spine completely intact. Pages are crisp and appear unstudied with no writing at all in this volume. Silver lettering on the front appears 99-100% and the spine appears 95% or better on the shiny silver lettering. Displays beautifully, an 8.5 out of 10 (10 being absolutely brand new mint!). Archival cover is on the volume, very carefully placed to assist the book in maintaining its current integrity, however it is easily removed if needed. Volume Two. The Time is at Hand . 228th Thousand edition. 1903 printing. Spine 95% intact-see note to follow. Pages are crisp and appear unstudied with no writing at all in this volume. Silver lettering on the front appears 99-100% and the spine appears 95% or better on the shiny silver lettering. Displays beautifully, an 8.5 out of 10 (10 being absolutely brand new mint!). Archival cover is on the volume, very carefully placed to assist the book in maintaining its current integrity, however it is easily removed if needed. Note; binding is split between pages 176 and 177-almost unnoticeable. Volume Three. Thy Kingdom Come . 205,000 edition. 1904 printing. Spine compromised not effecting it when on the shelf-still appears beautiful when displayed see below. Pages are 90% crisp and appear unstudied with no writing at all in this volume. Silver lettering on the front appears 99-100% and the spine appears 95% or better on the shiny silver lettering. Displays beautifully, an 7.5 out of 10 (10 being absolutely brand new mint!). Archival cover is on the volume, very carefully placed to assist the book in maintaining its current integrity, however it is easily removed if needed. Book appears very clean...
