You are bidding on a beautiful Antique Clock made by Waterbury Clock Company in 1881. This clock does NOT currently work, it used to work, but was sat down to hard one day and it has not worked since. I have never looked into having it repaired, but I have looked over it and inside of it and I think the pendulum has something to do with this not working, when the pendulum is on it's hanger it touches the bottom of the clock slightly, so it is tfore impossible for it to swing. Other than this clock not working, the rest of it is in wonderful condition - the outside of this is absolutely beautiful, t are some very small minor scratches and t from it's age, but nothing that is noticable, unless you are right on top of the clock and actually looking for scratches - none of them would even show up in the pictures I took. This clock looks like it is made of wood and marble, but the entire clock is metal. The statue on top is sitting on a bench with a book or paper in one hand and a pen or pencil in the other hand, beside her bench are 2 flutes, one harp and a tambourine. She is also solid metal. This clock also comes with it's original key for winding. This measures 12 3/4" wide x 5 3/4" thick x 17" tall (including the statue on top). On the inside of this clock it reads as follows: WATERBURY CLOCK CO. WATERBURY, CONN. PATENTED O.V.I. 1881 If I have left out any information that you would like to know, please ask as many questions that you would like and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We do not offer shipping insurance, however, if you would like shipping insurance please let me know and it will be purchased and charged to you.
