This Waterbury "Start" alarm clock is a fantastic piece that would make a wonderful addition to any clock collection, or could be used as an everyday alarm clock! It dates from approximately the turn of the century (it is featured in the 1912 catalog and has a 1901 patent date on the back) and is made of nickel. The case is in fairly good condition, there are a few light scratches and rubs that don't take away from the overall impact. It has a slight dent in the case on the back that is clearly visible in the pictures. It is in good running condition, and the alarm works well (it is a "long alarm" type that runs for approximately a minute and a half). To turn the alarm off, simply use the slide shut off function near the base. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Thank you and
