These 1995 & 1998 Waterford Snowflake Ornaments , from the "Snow Crystal Ornament Collection", were handmade in Ireland from the purest crystal . The 1995 (1st edition) is acid etched with the Waterford name, while the 1998 (last edition) is acid etched with the Waterford name & hallmark .

These ornaments are NEW . It does not appear that these ornaments were ever hung or displayed.

The 1995 comes with the original fitted red velvet box with a silver seal on top. The 1998 comes with it's original sleeve , in it's original red velvet box & red pouch. They both have their original red twisted cord for hanging. The original paperwork for both is also included. They both are approx. 3" by 2 1/2". Both of these ornaments were only available for one year. They were completely sold out during that time.
In nature, no two snowflakes are alike. You'll find the same thing with this collection. Each handcrafted ornament has the intaglio design of a beautiful snowflake in clear crystal with a frosted crystal background.

NOTE: The red tinges in the picture are reflections from the red cord.

Most crystal companies use 24% lead crystal, while Waterford uses 33% lead crystal. This is what makes Waterford products weigh more & have that special brilliance which makes it "head & shoulders" above the rest.
