This Waterford Crystal Vintage Alana 2 Piece Hurricane Lamp, was handmade in Ireland, from the purest crystal . Both pieces are acid etched with the Waterford name. The green and gold sticker is also attached. Each piece is checked by hand an average of 4 times to spot any imperfections. This Hurricane Lamp is like New without a box. It doesn't look like it was ever used . T is no hint of candle wax on it. Certainly, t are no chips either - amazing when dealing with a piece of vintage crystal. The Alana pattern is so beautiful with it's diamond pattern and clear crystal. It would make a wonderful gift for Easter, Mother's Day or any other special occasion. This hurricane lamp, when put togerther is 7 1/2" tall by 4" wide by 3 1/4" across the bottom. The top part is approx. 4 3/4" high and the bottom is 3 1/4" high . All around the footed bottom part are elegant ridges. It uses tea lights or votives to cast it's soft and romantic glow. The original paperwork is also included. It will come to you wrapped in Waterford's signature tissue paper . This lamp is heavy at approx. 2 1/4 pounds of pure, radiant sculpted crystal. It comes with a Waterford candle package that includes 2 Votive Candles - one named "Inspiration". It's scent is described as - the balmy aroma of Tahitian Vanilla, tonka bean & sugar cane. The other is Opalescent, described as - a medley of soft peach & citrus with a touch of vanilla. You'll also receive a votive & holder pictured in the white box Lastly, you will receive a gold toned, Waterford embossed Candle Snuffer . These candles are very high quality & luxurious - just like anything with the Waterford name . The votives alone have a burn time of 15 hours . These candles have a worth of approx. $55.00. Free delivery confirmation is included in the shipping. Note: The shipping discount doesn't apply to this item. Sorry, the shipping is higher because the candles weigh a lot. Please supersize then maximize the pictures. They are an important part of the description. Most crystal companies use 24% lead crystal, while Waterford uses 33% lead crystal. This is what makes Waterford products weigh more & have that special brilliance which makes it "head & shoulders" above the rest. Now for the fine print necessitated by all the changes in eBay: I have always refunded excess shipping back to my customers, as my repeat buyers know. The PRICE OF SHIPPING has MANY FACTORS. You not only have the weight of the item , but of the Waterford box it came with it (if it's available), the bubble wrap, peanuts, air bags & the outer box I send your item in. I only use packing materials that are clean & new, as are the boxes. I also have a small handling fee of $1 to $2.50 per shipment. This is due to the fact that I spend 10 to 30 minutes (sometimes more) packaging your "treasure." I send several personal emails along the way, from payment to shipping.
