This Waterford Crystal Amethyst Cased Ball Ornament was mouth-blown & hand cut by highly skilled craftsmen in Hungary from the purest crystal . The green & gold sticker is attached. No two are exactly alike. It was inspected by hand an average of 4 times.

This ornament is in BRAND NEW condition. It has never been hung or displayed. This ornament is retired & sold out.

This lovely ornament comes hand wrapped in Waterford's gold acid free tissue paper and in it's original red Waterford presentation box . It is wrapped in Waterford's signature tissue paper & it has a red satin ribbon for hanging. T is the Waterford name and hallmark on it, too. It is approx. 3" in diameter. The original paperwork is also included.

This ornament is beautiful cased amethyst crystal , cut to clear . Cased crystal is made when the artisan mouth blows a piece of pure crystal when it comes from the fire clear, molten hot and unstable . It is then plunged back to the fiery kiln , w brilliant colored crystal encases the body. Only then , can it be passed to a master cutter who painstakingly cuts through the crystal to release the clear crystal encased below. Hungary is renown the world over for it's skilled application of this centuries-old technique and art form.
