WATERFORD MILLENNIUM HAPPINESS TOASTING FLUTES: 1 PAIR NEW BOXED MINTTo honor the approach of the new millennium, Waterford Crystal presented a five-year series of special edition toasting flutes. Together, these works of the crystal artist celebrate the custom of toasting. Each year, beginning in 1996 and culminating in the year 2000, the edition is inspired by one the five universal wishes which lies at the heart of every eloquent toast. In the simple eloquence of the traditional Irish toast, they say to the Waterford collector “We wish you a thousand years.”Now retired, Waterford Crystal’s Millennium collection of toasting flutes and goblets were made in five distinct patterns to celebrate each of the five universal toasts - happiness, love, health, prosperity and peace. One pattern was released each year from 1996-2000. Production ended in 2005.We are offering 2 (two) glasses / 1 (one) pair of toasting flutes in the HAPPINESS pattern. Each glass stands 9-1/4” tall HAPPINESS is symbolized by stylized BOWS cut to perfection on each glass The pair of flutes is in its original gift box with all stickers and literature included. The exteriors of the gift boxes show some minor wear and tape marks
