You are bidding on the second toast to 'Love,' a pair of Waterford Crystal Champagne Flutes from The Millennium Collection "A Toast to the Year 2000." These flutes are a perfect gift for weddings, anniversaries, or any other special occasion.

These flutes have no cracks, marks, or chips. They will arrive in the original box (good condition) with original paperwork. Both flutes are marked "Waterford" on the base. Each glass is 9 1/8" tall

Background:

The Millennium Collection is a series of limited-edition toasting flutes issued in the last five years of the last century, with each year's flutes based on what Waterford deemed as the five universal toasting themes: happiness, love, health, prosperity and peace. A boxed set also came with a card and sentiment for each theme; identifying symbols are cut into the crystal. In retiring the Millennium Collection, Waterford held store events in November and December in 1999 as a farewell toast just prior to 2000. Waterford's Millennium series designer, Jim O'Leary, made store appearances for a last toast with the prototype flute molds, to symbolically break the mold.
