Very rare 1920's Waterman sterling silver over black hard rubber pen in the Night and Day pattern. The pattern was also called Moderne. This is one of the most difficult Waterman sterling patterns to find. This pen has no cracks, dents, or significant scratches. No name or initials on the indecia. The cap top is perfectly round. I believe it was dented at one time and professionaly repaired/restored. You can read the hard rubber barrel imprint and the 454 on the barrel end is deep. All sterling overlay is correctly marked "Watermans" and "sterling". The 14 K No. 4 Watermans nib says "Watermans Ideal Reg. Pat Off 4 Made in USA". It is medium flex with plenty of iridium.
