The Le Man series of pens were in production from 1983-1999. The 200s are a slimmer version of the larger 100s. The pen is a converter type, filled by means of a Waterman ink cartridge or "twist" piston converter. The pen ships with screw in converter installed. The pen measures 13.9cm when closed and 16.3cm when capped. The cap is the pull off push on type. The engraved two color 18k gold nib is in excellent condition; tines aligned, never bent or splayed. Ink flow is fluid. There are signs of wear: micro scratches in the black lacquer finish and on the gold platted accents. Located on the left side of the cap rim (top) there are two 1mm very shallow dents. The inset gold platted logo on the cap crown has a hairline scratch and small signs of color fade at the base of the 'W' in the logo (please see photographs).
