About Waterman Pens-- Established 1883 in New York City by Lewis Edson Waterman, it is one of the few first-generation fountain pen companies that survives to this day. The Carene has a streamlined design with sleek, rounded, curved lines evokes imagery of the strength and mystery of the ocean. Distinctive bevelled barrel button inlaid with a matching lacquer bead. Cap features a generous curved clip and the Waterman brand seal, a lacquered hexagon, is inlaid on top of clip. This awe-inspiring pen is richly laquered in Blue.
