Watteau by Durgin Sterling Offered by The Heart of Kansas is a set of 8 rare and remarkably well-preserved dinner knives with old-French silverplated blades and bolster in the Watteau pattern of sterling silver flatware by Durgin; these pieces were originally sold by the prestigious San Francisco jewelers Shreve & Co. I have other items in this flatware pattern currently offered on eBay, and some of the items are quite rare, so visit all my Watteau listings. Length: 9 3/8" Monograms: A Gothic letter "S" is engraved on the handle end. Condition: This flatware has been individually inspected and has been found to be in generally very good, gently used condition and t is no evidence of ruse damage or pitting on the handles. Please Note: these knives do have silverplated blades and as is common with these vintage blades, areas of plate wear are present. These areas of wear are confined to the raised areas that see the most wear; the flat surfaces of these blades show very little plate wear. Overall, I would rate the blades' condition as 8 out of a possible 10. These knives will blend in well with other gently used pieces. I am certain you will be pleased with the beauty, value and quality offered Postage and Shipping: My postage rates are very reasonable, and I gladly combine multiple purchases for shipping.
