Up for bids is this absolutely beautiful signed Wave Crest Biscuit Jar. Stands almost 7 inches by 5 inches square. From the top of the handle, when upright, to the base is 11 inches. T is a very ornate decorative metal work rim and handle. Looks like maybe silverplate. Fits very tight and secure with no damage. The peachy pink glass at the top and bottom and then turns into a creamy white in the center with lovely hand painted raised floral work. The glass is textured or blown out as you can see in pics. Those of you familiar with this item know what I mean. I certainly am not that familiar with Wave Crest items. I do know that t are no chips, cracks, hairlines to the glass jar itself. And the frame is 100% intact, no dents, breaks, cracks and fits very secure. Amazing for being 100 years old. Signed on the bottom with the Wave Crest, CFM hall mark. Also the lid is in perfect shape. T is a reserve to protect my investment. A Vintage Victorian, very elegant, biscuit jar at its best. Please ask any questions.
