We're excited about our recent Columbiana purchases. We're offering some very special pricing on ebay as a bit of a FALL COLUMBIA SALE. Please look carefully at the items we're listing this week. We have specialized in the World's Columbian Exposition since 1979 (and selling 9 years on ebay) as we assume most WCE collectors on ebay are aware. We recently published a catalog of 100 WCE items (if you never received that, which mailed October 1, please let us know) and our new history of the World's Columbian Midway Plaisance will be published by the University of Illinois Press in 2008.

As shown this is a mint, crisp and unused block of 4 1892 U.S. one cent Columbus stamps. When we acquired it the stamps were in a sleeve that had a very old price of $45 penciled on the holder.

All of our lots are a flat $3.00 for first-class shipping. Insurance is optional but without it obviously the buyer is at risk should anything be lost or damaged in shipping. The latter is highly unlikely as in the last 5,000 or so shipments we've NEVER had a claim or issue for damage. The postal service has, however, been known to lose things on occasion. We accept checks and money orders (personal, bank or business checks are just fine) but we do NOT use PayPal.

We have written and edited several dozen history books since the 1970s and as experts in the history field we have produced 300 total books for museums and publishers in the last 30 years. Our website is currently being updated, but information on the World's Columbian Expo and other project can be found at and by year's end we hope to have our archives and reference material online and accessible to collectors and others for historical research.
