The Little Mermaid *Ariel's Secret Grotto* This is the VERY RARE and RETIRED WDCC sculpture of "Ariel's Secret Grotto" from the 1989 Walt Disney classic movie The Little Mermaid . This is the VERY RARE double candelabra version as you can see in the picture below. This is the place w Ariel keeps all of the secret treasures of her hopes and dreams for a life on land.This incredibly detailed piece is filled with treasure chests, mirrors, musical instruments, and more and most importantly, a statue of her beloved Eric. Ariel's Secret Grotto was retired in March 1999 and has the 1997 Music Stand mark. The brass plaque on the bottom of this beautiful piece bears the Enchanted Places WDCC logo as well as the Deed number. The certificate of authenticity is still in the green WDCC envelope and has never been opened.This beautiful sculpture comes on a wooden base with a brass name tag. It is 6 inches high and 7 1/2 inches wide when on the base. This amazing piece is in mint condition, in the original box.
