This item is from the Walt Disney Classics Collection Cinderella Series titled Gus & Jaq "Tea for Two". This piece was the Walt Disney Classics Collection 1999 Open House Event Piece. It was only made available for two days – November 13th and 14th, 1999. This sculpture stands four and one half (4.5) inches tall. The Walt Disney Classics Collection event sculpture number for this piece is 3609. This sculpture was produced in the year 1999. The Artist for this piece is Patrick Romandy-Simmons. This item has the sorcerers hat production mark. This piece is “plussed” with gold painted details on the tea cup. Jaq and Gus are rendered as full figures within the cup. Jaq & Gus both have metal tails. A Royal Doulton saucer was made to compliment and display this piece. This saucer was also made available at the two-day Open House event. This saucer was initially sold separately and is included with this item. This sculpture was created through the collaborative efforts of thje animators and other artists of The Walt Disney Studios, using the same principles applied to classic Disney animation. In concept and execution, this is an authentic Disney three-dimensional representation of the original animated character and film scene, capturing the timeless spirit and beauty of Walt Disney's classic films in every detail. This item is in excellent condition with no chip, cracks or crazing and includes the box which is in excellent condition as well as the Certificate of Authenticity.
