Description Add this rare, retired Walt Disney Classics Collections piece, "Seahorse Surprise" featuring Ariel from The Little Mermaid, to your collection. This piece was retired in March of 1999. Sculpted by Kent Melton, this is the original edition figurine (Version 1 - Early Production) with matte tail and opalescent paint highlighting the edges and end of the fin, bronze clam shell containing a real pearl, and Olszewski bronze miniature seahorses. Bottom of the figurine has the music stand production mark. Includes original box, packing materials, and Certificate of Authenticity. This piece measures approx. 6 ½ inches. This piece was part of the first grouping from the "Under-the-Sea" sequence and released in Fall 1997. Condition This piece was briefly displayed but has been stored in the original box since. Box and figurine are both in excellent condition . Item was stored in a smoke free home.
