THIS DISPLAY BOARD IS TITLED "WEAPONS OF MOROLAND" MINDANAO, PHILIPPINES.THIS IS A HAND MADE WOODEN DISPLAY BOARD MADE IN THE PHILIPPINES. EACH BLADE IS METAL AND THE GRIPS ARE WOOD T ARE A TOTAL OF 29 BLADES. ONE BOW AND 4 ARROWS, A ROUND SHIELD, 20 DIFFERENT KNIVES, BOLOS AND MACHETTES, AND 5 SPEARS. EACH PIECE IS HAND MADE AND LABELED. THE BOARD IS PAINTED BLACK WITH WHITE LETTERING NAMEING EACH PIECE. T IS A SMALL METAL HANGER ON THE BACK. THROUGH THE YEARS I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL OF THESE BOARDS AND MOST WERE IN BAD SHAPE WITH BROKEN EDGES AND KNIVES MISSING. THIS ONE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. I HAVE NO IDEA OF THE AGE OF THIS BOARD OR WHEN IT WAS MADE. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE MOROS EXCEPT WHAT I READ ABOUT THE SPAN-AM WAR. THE BOARD MEASURES 17" HIGH & 15 1/2" WIDE.
