Regrettably I must make available my beautiful John Chapman Good Wear Leather Werber A-2 Jacket. I say regrettably because I no longer fit into it as well as I like. Winter spread or too much beer. At any rate, This was a jacket from the collection of prostaff4ever. If you have been looking at A-2 jackets on EBay you may recognize him. He had one of the best collections of original and reprodution jackets, some of which he made available for auction recently. I obtained this jacket from him in September of 2010. At the time, it fit me snugly, as original fit A-2 jackets do. I had always wanted one of John Chapman's jackets as they are probably one of the, if not the best, reproduction jackets available. Lost Worlds is another very fine A-2. At the time I obtained my 1941 Werber from prostaff4ever there was about a 6 month wait for one of John Chapman's jackets. When I found this jacket up for auction I thought it would be a great opportunity to get what was an almost new jacket from a real collector, possibly for less than what I would pay for a brand new one, and not have to wait 6-8 months. Well, I accomplished that. This jacket is still like new. Now, John Chapman has stopped taking new orders for jackets as he is attempting to clear his backlog.
