For auction today I have 1 Late model Wearever Pacemaker fountain pen 100% restored and ready for your ink. . Produced from approx. 1952-60 give or take a year on either side, these were the last Pacemaker models to leave the factory. 5 5/16" capped, 6" posted, 7/16" od at the cap lip. This one is a Deep Green with a satin chrome cap. Lever filler, the imprint is weaker but still pretty clear. This is the only production Wearever model with an interchangeable nib like an Esterbrook, Pelikan, Venus or certain Sheaffer models. Smooth steel medium~rigid R47 nib. This pen also has the clear C-Flo acrylic feed. A very cool feature in my book. It was sold claiming you can check your ink level at a glance (flip it over & look at the feed) & to an extent you can. If your pen is full the feed will be full and dark, as the levels run lower the feed takes on a lighter washed out look to it. In the Wearever Pacemeker family line up, this is a pretty uncommon model. They do pop up from time to time but not that often. Thgere is some light overall wear but nothing dramatic. The section looks bright blue in the pics. It's really a green tone & is correct. The color shift is a variance in the dye batch they used when it was manufactured. For what it's worth. If a pen I have listed has no bids and you'd like to have it right now. Contact me with read more
