Marked: with "H" (within a flag-for Mechanics Sterling Circa 1896-?) makers marks and "STERLING" Circa: 1896- ? Size: Approx. 4 3/4" Description: is a terrific spoon just in time for stocking stuffing. The entire handle, front and back, is a beautifully crafted in raised detail WEBFOOT character of a webfoot frog carrying an umbrella spoofing the rainy weather of the Pacific Northwest. In the bowl it has a wonderfully detailed 'needle' etched and 'bright cut' mountain scene of stately Mt. Hood. It says "Mt. Hood, OREGON" above the scene. This is a really MAGNIFICENTLY CRAFTED spoon! It is really beautiful and in great confition. I will take more pictures if you like.
