Here is the very nice vintage Webster-Chicago Model 228-1 Wire Recorder made by Webster Chicago of Chicago 89 Ill, USA back in the 1950s. The Set is sold as is, and as pictured because of the age of the unit. I plugged the Wire Recoder in, and turned it on and it worked in both forward and reverse, but is not tested in the Record Function and when I played the wire reel that is on the unit, I just heard low volume but do not know if there was any thing recored on the wire. The Unit is in quite good condition for its age, looks and displays well, and would be a super addition to your collection.Note: shipping is an estimate.
