Up for bid is this vintage silver tea set. I am not an expert on silver all pieces are marked with a star inside a spiderweb with 194 all stamped in. The tea pot has a very slender look measuring 9"H X 6"W with a flip top. the lon thin spout gives it an elegant look . Both the sugar and creamer match perfectly. These items are very light and could be sterling silver. I would appreciate any information any one would like to share. Theya are all in very good condition. Happy Bidding!
I was informed by a very nice Ebayer that the mark on the bottom is E G Webster and Sons which were known for their high quality workmaship This mark was used between 1886-1928. They did both steling silver and silver plate. The design and the feel of thse pieces show true quality. Thank You for the Information!
