Offered here is an ornate Biscuit Jar / Cracker Barrel in a Gaudy Welsh pattern of deep cobalt blue and Chinese red hand enameling and outlined with an abundance of gold gilding in an Imari style on a bone china body (second period Wedgwood). It measures 6 1/4” diameter at its widest point by 7” tall to top of knop. Made circa 1880, the body is in excellent condition, but the lip of the lid inside has a chunk broken off (not visible when in place), along with hairlines as shown. See photo for Wedgwood printed mark to include the Portland Vase logo.
