Wedgwood Black and Terracotta Jasperware Square Bud Egyptian Vase 1978 Originally part of a collection to commemorate the Tutankhamun exhibition tour of 1978, the collection would have comprised of various trinket boxes, plates in various sizes, vases and a highly sort after canopic vase. Offered for auction is one of a pair of Egyptian vases currently for auction on Ebay. The vase stands 7" in height, in it's original box and decorated with various Egyptian figures which include Horus - The sign of Upper Egypt and winged Sphinxes (head of a women, wings of an Eagle). Palm tree leaves and flower heads are present around the base and top of the vase. Impressed mark to the base are - M78 WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND.
