This is a museum quality example of Josiah Wedgwood's signature Portland Vase, marked WEDGWOOD. This 10.5" vase measures 24" in circumference at the widest point. The figures are "undraped" and shows the true design of the vase that was modeled after an ancient Grecian vase. The vase is mint! The bottom disk also in mint condition. The pictures show the true beauty and quality of this prized piece. This was the signature piece of the private collector's estate collection.
