WEDGWOOD JASPER WARE COMMEMORATIVE TEAPOT 1953 CORONATION. This is a lovely teapot made to commemorate the coronation of her majesty the queen Elizabeth to the the thrown of England in 1953 as you can see in the ever popular pale blue jasper the teapot is in fine condition (one of the best I have seen very clean crisp colouring came from a huge collection of jasper ware and must have been stored as when I opened the box it was in yesterday the teapot was wrapped in newspaper dated 1968 so has been in storage for more than 40 years ) with no chips cracks or marks the teapot is glazed inside and has a height of just under 6 inches and a width handle to spout of 9 inches and you can see is fully marked.
as I mentioned this teapot has come from a large collection of a former Wedgwood employee of more than 30 years what must be well over 2000 pieces that I am gradually listing over the coming weeks and months
